Help answer this question below.

Im going all they way from california to miami on suday
how long would it take driving?
how long would it be on a plane?
is there an other way to get there?

    It would depend on your starting point and your destination.
    For an example L.A. to Orlando is some 2430 miles. At a steady 60mph thats over 40 hours of driving,or 5 eight hour days. About 4.5 hours on a plane,I would think this to be your cheapest option.
    I have no idea about trains but ,have heard that in the U.S.A.trains are notoriously undependable.
    You ask for an alternative.I dont really know being an Englishman but would it be possible to drive to ,say,Houston,Texas and get a boat to Tampa,thats sounds like fun......

    I went to Miami from Cali when I was little on plane thank god omg 3-4 days driving yikes... 4.5 hours sounds right depends on what stops the plane makes and stuff aswell.

    Flights: 4.5 hours gate to gate about $400-500

    Drive: 3-4 days driving 12 hours a day $1,000+

    Bus: 3 days

    Train: 3 days $500-1,000

    If you're serious, go to airline site and make plan - you don't have to buy, but it gives travel time (add in wait).

    For rail try amtrak

    For car just try googl, yahoo or mapquest with an address & you'll get approximate time. Also, navigation divices do that too.

    Why would you even consider driving?
