Help answer this question below.
They are making stuff and selling it out of stuff that is free to the general public anyway. Sure there are some ideas that are original, but Mozilla Firefox is an open source browser. Google it, and try it out. Also look at openoffice.org, which is an open source office package. Stronger than Microsoft Office, and you are allowed to reverse engineer it, change it and sell it, and as a general use, it is able to be saved in microsoft format if required. Much better. Then there is the rest of linux. Linux is like Microsoft, except FREE!!! Also, you can again, reverse engineer it, change it and sell it, or just use it. Some linux platforms (like Vista or XP) are ubuntu, redhat, fedora, etc. Look these up, and welcome to the world of no rip-offs trying to make a computer do what a computer should do.
The thing I enjoy most about Linux, is when you go to "Add or remove programs", there are thousands of things you can add!!!. For free!!! Legally!!!.

You're reading Do you ever wonder why Microsoft, a very strong and top of the line company in the Internet world has such a lousy Internet Browser? Compared to Google and Yahoo, all they have is a piece of trash!

Oops....I realize I made a mistake. I meant SEARCH ENGINE, not browser. I only use Microsoft IE at work, because I don't have any choice. I always use Firefox, specially with Answerbag, because it has a spell checker. I also like Opera, because you can open tabs with favorite pages and they will stay the way you want them even if you turn off the computer.

Good answer!! I am using Xubuntu on a older laptop and it is so small and light weight, that this thing screams. Much faster than XP or Vista. Open Office is great.

Sure is, eh. I am a convert. Never going back to Microsoft. Still, credit where credit is due. Great advertising and marketing. Clever tactics, in that they have the education system teaching it, as it is the most common in industry. Still, I see this going soon, at least in IT, if not the business and office administration. Glory days, and free programs for every student if they do change it though.
