If it was possible to get a 747 Jumbo Jet into space, would its structure be strong enough to hold the air pressure inside?

    No, they are designed to leak and cannot even fly at their normal operating height without the engines running to constantly top up the air pressure to a survivable level.

    In space, with no air to run the engines or to top up the pressure, you wouldn't last for long in a 747 unless it was modified. If you could somehow modify it to be leakproof I don't think structural strength would be a problem though.
