Question

Help answer this question below.

I got into a fight yesterday at the airport because the airline wouldn't let me check a small (the size of a hotel-minibar) refrigerator on the plane. Does anyone know if there is a restriction on transporting this appliance on a commercial airplane

The FAA/TSA prohibit compressed gas except in lifejacket gas cylinders.

A refrigerator would contain a refrigerant that is compressed gas, possibly dichlorodifloromethane.
