    Photo shop Exactly not a Graphic Designing software, it is a raster based software, mainly used for Photo editing and pixel based works, mostly vector based softwares are used for graphic design , if you are fixed with proper size and resolution to print / web then we can use photo shop for graphic design for must.

    Yes...it's a digital darkroom, for image manipulation...the cs3 stands for creative suite 3.
