What would happen if dogs would meow, and cats would bark?

    There would many more accidents by dogs in the house if they had to "meow" to be let out.

    Cats would take over as watch dogs, but only for their bark. They would be useless in an attack.

    There would be far less barking, since cats are so independent and quiet, and alot more meowing every time the ran the vacuum, the doorbell rang, or the cat thought they heard something outside.

    Then the brighter dogs would think: Hey, we can woof too! The more intelligent cats would propose a peace treaty to the dogs since they now talk the same language (although different dialects they'd still understand each other). There would be no more dogs chasing cats and they would be forced to come up with a new idea of fun. The dogs would join the cats in their night-time orchestra and we wouldn't like that.

    So let's just pray they never do, OK?

    We would just think it was normal...never knowing the difference...then we would read what if dogs bark and cats meow.
