Why bother having a platonic friendship with a girl if theres no prospect for sex?

    It's always a good idea to have several female friends that you haven't & aren't trying to bone. If nothing else, it helps give you perspective on the ones you are trying to bone.

    Because it's platonic.......you answered your own question. If you want sex you need a girlfriend or a slut or something other than a plutonic friend.

    Because sex isn't the be all and end all of everything. You can have a great, fulfilling and meaningful relationship with a person of the opposite sex without messing about in each others knickers. If you think girls are only for shagging and useless for non-sexual relationships, then you need to rethink your ideas sharpish, or you're going to end up dissapointed.
