Should immigrants be deported?

If the answer is yes, then ALL of us who are not Native American have to go. Also, all scientific discovery, medical advances, and everything else that an immigrant or descendant of an immigrant made has to be taken down/discarded/discontinued immediately.

Other than that, you, asker, have no more rights than any legal immigrant. Me for example: I came here in 1969 and have full American citizenship. You have no more right to be here than I have.

Look at the crime rate in the U.S. mostly caused by illegals who cant or refuse to assimilate into american culture. I have no problem with legal immigrants however.

If by immigrants, you mean those who legally immigrated to this country, and all of there descendents, then no...that would mean everyone in this country would be deported (but, to where?).
If you mean the illegals who come here and refuse to become legal, then yes to them.

I agree. Immigration is what makes this country great. We have always been very open and accepting of people from all over the world coming here and starting a new life. There is a process for that path, and a good one for very good reasons. It's a legal course that all must follow, just as I and those born here, must follow the laws of this land or suffer the consequences. Coming here by skirting the law only creates division and heart break for all involved. I'm wondering why we have such a a problem in the first place. by watching the news we know that everyone hates America, so why do so many want to come here? Hmmm

Well as I see, I am as native to this planet as it gets. So I guess I am not an immigrant. And to my reckoning no ones is. Its that mentality that is keep this world separated and not united. Think that you are from one or another, or because you believe this way or that you only belong to one minor group or another, where you are still are apart of the human race and live in the worlds society, which are both greater then any petty little group you could come up with.

Illegal immigrants should be deported. We should make provisions for SEVERE punishment for any that return illegally and simultaneously make it possible for a larger number to come in legally.

Illegal immigrants should be deported. They take advantage of the system by taking in free health care and education and pay nothing into the system. This is a huge burden and increases the deficit in our government's finances.

That would be a logistical nightmare. It'd make much more sense to fine employers about 5x what they think they'll save by hiring illegals. Enforce that, and the problem will go away all by itself.
