Help answer this question below.

I drove via a large puddle...after car was parked for about an hour ...car started right up but appeared sluggish, degresed power on alceleration,what appeared to be smell of burning rubber,but no smoke,check engine light flashing,car stalled what's wrong

    The fact that your "check engine" light was flashing probably indicates that you had a misfire. The water either got into the ignition system or the fuel injection system wiring.

    The "burning rubber" smell may have been wire insulation burning due to a short circuit.

    Unfortunately, you will need to have a professional look at this. There's no reasonable way to diagnose it remotely.
