Sulk, drink (sometimes), regroup, put my big girl pants on, and get to work.

Drop everything for a while.

Start by staying away from people that are negative no matter who they are. Take care of myself. Get to that quiet place inside where I live to regroup, listen and nurture.

You mean when something smacks the crap out of you that was totally unexpected and knocks you for a loop? You slog through it. You keep positive/optimistic/hopeful. You envision getting through it by putting one foot in the front of the other for however it long it takes. You never give up. You see success at the end even if during the process you're sometimes doubtful. You go around, above, below and through whatever you have to do to keep on going. That's what you do. :) ((hugs))

let everything go and have a break for a while before trying to catch up

I just try the best I can to go with the flow if there really is nothing I can do about it; and that's happened quite a bit in the last couple of years. I just hope it will pass or get better in time.

So far I have been fortunate enough to have not allowed things to get out of control. I think about the individual problems that may arise and I resolve it before letting it make me a wreck.
