Help answer this question below.
Flaw in the question: plenty of jurisdictions still elect their judges. Some even elect their state Supreme Court justices!
This feels a lot like a homework question. It also feels like the teacher phrased it to suggest the answer they want is "Oh, yes, MUCH too powerful, because..." I wonder if any of your classmates will have the guts to say no -- if so, please let us know what kind of grades they get! :) Good luck to you in your research.
Google "role of the judiciary" to get differing points of view on this issue. Also, your local public reference librarian (or MAYBE the school librarian) can get you this article:

To Ncustomart, you are right it is an Everest College unit 4 question. I came here to get an idea on how to answer the question, not to copy what someone else says, as could be the case for the person asking the question!
This is a great question. Especially since it is in the Goverment class that you are attending. For those in 2008, it is a government class question unit 4 at everest college. So yeah plagerize all you want. You will get caught. This means you Debra.
All I can say is yes from personal experience, and I wish not to get into that.

You're reading Critics of activist courts suggest that the courts have adopted a legislative role and enforce broad social policies. Does our system of justice put too much power in the hands of unelected officials? Please give an example thanks
