No, it's cheaper for them to keep someone hopeful that they will actually get a permanent job with some benefits until the time comes that the temp expects it and then they replace them with a new crew of hopefuls. Great moral practice, don't you think?! A$$holes! I know someone that's basically working for a temp agency now, it's like clockwork; she gets a job, they tell her she'll be permanent for 3 months, sometimes they tell her they can't just yet after the 3 months are up, but will in another 3 months. She stays another 3 months hoping they will and then, boom; they don't need her so the temp agency places her at another job where they do they same thing! It's cheaper for the company! It sucks and it's wrong. I don't know how they live with themselves using people that way!
no, it's always cheaper to use people than it is to treat them properly.

You're reading Temp agencies here hire people 90 days & then let them go & replace them so companies don't have to pay benefits. Would it not be cheaper rather than having to re train every 90 days to pay benefits & keep people who WANT to work?

I know. I just lost a GREAT awesome job because they decided to use a temp agency. The thing is I was only to going to work 1 day a week. I would have gotten nothing and yet it didn't matter..around here you can't get a job without using a temp agency and then those that really want to work they don't send out and if they do they replace them after 90 days. It is wrong and I wish that laws would be passed to stop it. Thank you

I'm afraid there are no morals left in the world. That's very wrong.
