I'd start with The Eye of the World, but that's how I read them to begin with. However, when I read the prequel, it was kind of gratifying to know stuff discussed in that book that would not have made any sense otherwise.
If you're truly one of us, it won't matter in what order you read the books, because you'll be rereading them for the rest of your life.

I have not yet read the "Wheel of Time" series (Robert Jordan) and own Both Eye of the world and New Spring (in it's novel form.) Would it be recommended that I read new spring first, being that it is the prequel, or should I wait until I've read more?
