You're reading Remember those inside the ear single ear head phone/ear bud from transsirot radios back in the 70's/80' that had like a little cone that went into the ear canal? does anyone remember the exact name/keyword for this type of ear bud? for ebay search

THANK YOU, that is exactly what i was looking for.
the modern ear buds may claim better sound, but to me they HURT.
after a few minutes i can't stand to wear them any more, now i will be able to listen to music while working.

Your welcome. I still use the one I got as a teenager. I've never tried the modern kind.

I've tried many styles and they are leave my ear feeling sore after any where from a few minutes to half an hour.
the only comfortable one I've had was the old style Monaural one from my grandmothers transistor radio unfortunately it was damaged while I was moving a piece of furniture at work and it's cord was snagged on a loose Upholstery Nail
