There may be two fuse junctions, one inside the car and one outside the car, under the hood. You'll need to check both. Alternatively, a ground wire may be bad which would require removing the radio, tracing or probing the wires, and making sure all the connections are sound. Also, on SOME radios, there is a fuse in teh back of the radio that can go ... replacing this, again, requires removal of the unit itself. Also, you may have a bad accessory wire or fuse, as the accessory line off the key switch is what tells the radio to power up, it's either a blue or orange wire from the steering column. This, again, requires removal of the unit and testing of the wires.

You're reading I have a 1998 Mercury Sable LS. The radio/clock does not work at all. Does anyone know what is wrong or how to fix it? The Fuses are all fine. Someone please help. Thanks
