2001 Ford Taurus SES needs oil pan gasket replacement; how hard is this to do? How long would it take an average mechanic to do?

On most cars, this is a fairly easy job and if it takes your guy more than 30 minutes to finish then consider finding a new garage.

30 minutes is a bit rushed. i would say no more than 2 hours for a skilled mechanic. its not a hard job, but there are alot of components in the way that need to be removed first. I replaced mine for the first time and it took me nearly 6 hours. im not a professional mechanic. But i do know what im doing
