• Palin? What's to like? She is a rediculous cartoon character of a person... Not fit for government on that level. Governor okay... But she would be a female Bush without the education, the family history in politics or the daddy to back up her stupid mistakes.

• Aren't you embarassed by her comments about seeing Russia from Alaska even though she has never been to the part where you can actually see Siberia. Add that to all the other junk and packaged speaches and you have a female George Bush with a little Dan Quayle mixed in. I get the creeps when I here her or Bush talk. I really feel embarassed for them.

• No I'm not embarrassed at all. She is a conservative. We have gotten so used to the in the middle so called conservatives like Mccain, so she sounds wacky and crazy. She is actually the kind of conservative we need to rejuvenate the republican party.

• If the party needs Palin, there will be few left to support her. It seems that conservatives have been shooting for the lowest common denominator since the election of Reagan. He was why I quit the Rebublican party.

• Reagan was the last true republican and true conservative we've had. We've been looking for another like him since. In my opinion he was the greatest president of my life time, and the complete opposite of Obama.

• I am truly sorry for you if you think Reagan was a great president and even a conservative. He doubled the military budget, ran a ponzi scheme with Iran-Contra conspiracy group and that creep Oliver North. He broke unions. Nothing conservative about him. He was a B actor playing an F presidency.

• Unions are what brought us the middle class. As you can see, today, the weaker the unions the lower the pay and more the money transfers to the very rich.
  
  Clinton was the best Republican president we ever had. He took Reagan's deficit and left the country with a surplus. The neocons got into power and spent the money with nothing to show for its loss. There hasn't been a real Republican in office since Eisenhower and he warned against the very things Reagan supported.

• Clinton is a Democrat. I don't like unions. At one time they were for the workers, but that was way back in the 60's since then they have only been about their own power. They are not needed anymore. There are laws and regulations that have made unions obsolete, now they just stand in the way of progress.

• Clinton was a democrat in name only. The majority of his policies were conservative (it's tongue-in-cheek humor).
  
  Reagan sponsored corporate socialism. All the big guys got "government contracts" the rest of us got the shaft. If Reagan and Bush, and laughingly, Palin, are conservatives, maybe we need a little socialism. I am getting tired of the trickle up economy.

• I think your history is backwards. Bush was Republican in name only. Clinton was the Democratic poster child until Obama came along. Maybe that is why you are confused about Clinton, because Obama is so radical he makes Clinton seem like a Republican.

• Sarah Palin never said she could see Russia from her house. That was said by Tina Fey in a SNL skit. What Sarah Palin really said was that they are certain places in Alaska where people can see Russia from.

• That quote was from Saturday Night Live. Palin never said that. Palin has more experience than Obama did. She has actually governed, all he ever did was decide the best place to put a new traffic light, if he showed up for work that is.

• I know that Palin did not say those exact words, I was making a joke. Palin did however say that Russia could be seen from some places in Alaska, and she tried to make this seem as if it counted as political experience. Just because you can see something, it does not mean that you know a lot about it.

• Honestly, I'd vote for the green party before I'd vote for either of them. Clinton seems power hungry to me, and Palin does seem to me to be quite shady. Neither of them would be good for our country, but if one was going to get in no matter what, I'd rather it be Clinton. She's power hungry, but she cares enough about her image to at least do a little good.
