I call my mom and she doesn't answer and doesn't call back..I leave a voice message. Come to find out her phone is malfunctioning and shutting off. It's not ringing or even showing I called or left a message. It is possible the people you are calling are having problems with the phone. Cell phones seem to be sorry when it comes to service..some providers have such cheap phones that the phones don't work half the time. It may be that issue or maybe they are somewhere that they don't get service or they have had to turn the phone off..the batteries down..anything like that. I get frustrated too but things happen.

I know this sounds odd, but just like you don't have to answer the door if someone just shows up at your house uninvited, you don't have to answer the phone when they call (whether it's your cell or your landline at home).
Yes, the cell phone was invented so we could get in touch with people at any time. But the fact that you can call them still doesn't mean they're obligated to answer.
If someone texts another person from my cellphone, am I allowed to read those texts since it is my phone?

You're reading Does anyone else go crazy when you call someone's cell phone and they don't pick up and then never call you back. I mean wasn't that why we invented the cell phone, to get in touch with people at anytime.
