Really?! The last one I had lasted 15 years; it too was an RCA, and we could have fixed it but decided to get a new one because it needed something that was pricey. Actually I like this one too, because it kind of reminds me of the old-timey ones that were in a console. This one stands about 4 feet tall and reminds me of one of the first tv's I remember my parents owning, except that one was black and white, and it had a big speaker under where the tv screen was; this just has a storage area for dvd players and stuff like that. I would really like one of those HDTVs with the flat screen. I saw one of them in Best Buy and it was so clear it was like you were right there with the actors!
