• The movies were humorous. Do you think the Terminator movies "condone" the use of murderous robots? Most societies are fairly tolerant of eccentric artists. Do you think locking him up has helped any?

• I think the Terminator movies along with the Rambo, Commando, and even GI JOE cartoons paved the way for young innocent male US citizens to become interested in military violence. Most of today's soldiers probably once owned a GI JOE in the 80's, think about that. As for the robots, this is what hollywood does, it takes an current popular idea and combines false emotion with a lot of drama, education, and imagination and feeds it to the public. How many Terminator fans wanted to at one point make their own robot? Did you know that there are millions of Chinese farmers that have never even heard of CocaCola before? TV is programming human minds, and it may be past the point of no return.....Locking up Tommy Chong sets an example to the rest of the potheads. Drugs are a dead end street.

• If I was the judge and the jury, let me be blunt here, there wouldn't be any prisons. I DO think that these violent films made way for youngens to release their inner frustrations by the old "monkey see, monkey do" philosophy. How many kids in your town have loud annoying usless mufflers on their "suped up" Hondas? same thing. Some kill some just act out what they see, and try and make it real. The law is very different than what even the movies make it out to be. The law is real and it will haunt you for the rest of your life if you mess up. In the movies the law is forgotten about in lieu of greater bloodshed and sexual stimulation, all for the sake of product sales at the expense of polluting childrens' and adults' minds.

  Sure lets take everyones rights away, good call. These movies really are not made for kids.. its the parents who need to say "sunny I think this is a bad movie considering your age so no, you can't watch it"

• Tommy Chong was a scapegoat, a high profile player in this war on drugs. The war is over. The US lost or gave up. How many pharmaceutical commercials do you see on TV everyday? Tommy Chong is not responsible for marijuana use. He made a living satirizing the use/abuse of illegal drugs. He was playing a role just like an actor plays a criminal in a movie. Just because somebody plays a criminal in the movies doesn't make him responsible for crimes. Everybody is responsible for their own actions.
