Someone said they had a police friend get a juvenile police record for them and they have spread that info to the neighborhood. This person is accusing the juvenile of additional crimes although he has no witnesses or proof. Are there legal issues here?

The juveniles parent confirms the info being spread matches what is on the record. It was just a minor offense. The accuser of a larger offense is the person who named the police officer. I know it happened and have witnesses to the admission, but I don't know if it is illegal?

Someone could also be lying about getting that info from the police friend, and are just spreading rumors as facts.

Unless you can state specific proof, that this person did indeed get a juvenile record from the officer, you have no case.
