• My point to the Question is ... Would the pain of his terrible crime to a child, hurt more or less than losing the accused? ... I for one would not feel for anyone who would commit such a crime, be they family or not ... Many Thanks +

• Thank you for explaining because I see my answer wouldn't work then. I think as you think. I would leave my memories of that person, the door is shut. My heart would feel the horror of the act every time that person's image came in my mind. That's the huge extent of the damage that type of thought can do to us. Once you are able, you can come back from this. Many blessings for asking.
