When was the last time when you said to your parents.." i love you"?

    The last time I told my father to his face that I loved him was in 1980 when I was sitting at his bedside holding his hand as he died at home.

    I have never told my mother "I love you" to her face because she died giving birth to me.

    However, I tell them both that every day and believe that they can hear me.

    i really dont think i ever have...
    they are great but i am just not too close...
    my mum was 40 when i was born so i did find it difficult to communicate, but i did get everything i needed.

    i am always there for em when they need me...

    The last time I talked to them before they allowed my brother to put a gun in his mouth and blow his head off. I haven't seen any reason to say that to them since.
