Tell him that you thought it over and you cannot live on 17 so you need 20. Maybe you can compromise at 18 or 19. I don't think it would hurt to ask.

First of all, don't give a number unless you mean it. To ask for the higher wage, first go online and research what the beginning wages for a dental assistant are. You may be able to justify the higher wage with facts.

You're reading I am doin an internship for dental assisting and am possibly going to be working there after the dentist asked me what i wanted as an hourly wage and i said 17 quickly and i want to ask for 20 how do i go about asking for that and it it a good idea
