I get to be surrounded by piles of books all day, some of which are incredibly old and which I have great respect for. The smell of books is heaven to me.
I work at one of the biggest iconic buildings in NYC (Rockefeller Center) And I see famous people all day long! (also on lunch I watch the idiots try and ice skate)
I don't have a job. I am a stay at home Mother but I don't consider it a job. I consider it a privilege. I love my Children. Yes they cause things to become hectic, but in the end it is all hunky-dory, and I still love them to pieces. It doesn't get paid in money, it gets paid in something greater than money, and that is, their time.
as a server, the people i've met from around the world and some of the amazing accents, along with the good exercise
The positive feedback from others makes me feel good.
Actually there are several I like about my job, including but not limited to, Protect and help people, save lives, take a bad guy off the street, among many other things.
I'm an architect: I love the creative spect of it, also seeing your finished job being appreciated by your clients and yourself.
I love my co-workers and I fully support the work we do.
I love the fact that my customers ask only for me to assist them
It make me feel appreciated even when the employers don't recognize my work.
I work outside most of the time and get to see places that very few people have ever seen
I can eat anytime I want. Its fun, I really enjoy doing it. I meet people from tons of different places. And I have a great Boss!
I get to meet lots of new and interesting people
I love the fact I have my own office!!!
I get to make a difference in the lives of children. I wake up everyday looking forward to work!
There usually isn't anyone here first thing in the morning so I get some "peace and quiet" time.
I'm surrounded by computers and have access to systems and databases hackers and intelligence officers dream of. From the full UK libaries digital collection to the BBC archives online. My employer handles the contracts for a lot of interesting companies. Great company, hot girls and cool guys. I goto work early with a smile every weekday.
I love to design and write computer software!
Its easy!
I love interacting with the customers,I work in a subway sandwhich shop.
I can go into the office in the summertime wearing shorts and Hawaiian shirts, and nobody will bat an eyelid.
I don't have a job. I'm a 14 year old student and my job until I'm overage is to continue studying. Well I do like school and math is great.
I love the people I work with!
I have good coworkers and learn new things.
My Co-workers.
the freedom to try new things
i don't need to do almost anything in my job
The food smells great & once in a while I get a kick out of people coming in embarrassing themselves along with their bratty children.
I am very rarely in my office. I entertain my clients in the greatest restaurants in Manhattan. Always exiting and I am always able to meet new and interesting people.
i love my boss, it's me
I get to watch kids and try to get to learn and just hope that something I have said or did has made a difference in at least 1 childs life.. making even a small difference in 1 life is worth it.
I love that I get to wear jeans, suits make me feel wooozy.
I love that everyday, I get to see my students and find out what's up in their lives....then I get to watch them think....it is really, super-cool!
My schedule is pretty flexible.
The best thing I like about my job is the hours before 8am. and after 5pm, Saturdays and Sundays.
The freedom they give me - they let me know what needs o be done, then don't check up on me. As long as it's taken care of on time, I'm good. I love that.
I like the people I work with
I get paid to go on AB all day/night?
We can watch movies and such also.
It's really not such a bad place to work.
IT PROVIDES A CONSTANT REASON TO LEAVE.
I like the variety of people I work with young and old they are all interesting.
I run two small businesess ... I write and sell shareware software, and I teach a mix of self defense and health sciences.
For the software business, I like that it is the kind of work that I can do for 18 hours straight, or drop suddenly and ignore for a few weeks, and the program I am developing will still be the same when I return to it at my leisure.
For the martial arts lessons, I like the fact that I get paid to spread both health and wisdom mixed with the ability to protect one's self and loved ones.
I love my job, I love what I do, I love the environment and people I work with (even though some of them get on my nerves here and there) but overall - I love everything about what I do and where I work...
I have a fairly unfulfilling job as a grocery bagger, but I like almost everyone I work with! There's a real sense of camradarie among the lower-position workers (checkers and baggers) in the store.
Another thing that makes my job worthwhile is the customers, usually the regulars, that treat me like a human being and don't assume that just because I'm wearing an apron, I'm their slave. One nice man comes in a lot, and when he's done shopping, he buys all the employees soda.
the fact that i can haang out here on AB and my space all day
I love the busyness of it - multitasking is a must and it keeps me from getting bored.
The serene feeling I get from being the 1st one here in the morning.. Then again there aren't too many people in at 6:00...
To protect and serve. you are right, the money is not the greatest, but money is not everything.
The greatest satisfaction i receive, is when i see a child being a pawn between two people in a domestic dispute. i have the authority to take that child away and place it into a safe environment. totally away from its parent(s) for protection, even for life.
I actually like my job. I like how I know everyone at my work, makes things more friendly.
I like being able to travel. If it weren't for the constant traveling, I would find work in an entirely new industry.
The stories I will be able to tell my grandchildren will be awesome. Wait, I don't have kids. . .perhaps a tell all with Barbara Walters (rolls eyes).
I like that my job is interesting. I work in a courtroom and on many days it's like watching CSI as the drama unfolds. I like trying to guess which way the jury will go. I've worked cases such as widows against coal companies, the U.S. against drug dealers, and sexually harassed employees against employers. With each case I've learned something, a little more about the law and a lot more about human nature.
