We had a monkey for a while, it was rather mean so my dad gave it away. We had a pony for a while but it had bad feet so we couldn't ride it, only feed it and clean it's stall, so my dad gave it away. Also had a dog but it bit the mailman so my dad gave it away.
We had a "hobby farm" our pets were goats, chickens, dogs, cats, a rabbit, and 3 pigs for a short while.

Just the one cat (from when I was 2 til 20), cocker spaniels, guinea pigs, tadpoles/frogs and the occasional injured seagul I'd bring home from the beach, which of course would tie up the whole bathroom from being used for a day or so, until my MUm convinced me it was time to let it go. Oh and a budgie!
A cat and a dog.
A pet rock.
cat who had kittens, a dog and started with 2 rabbits and ended up with 35! Guess Mom didnt know they were male and female! We built a huge hutch for them in our basement and kept them til we moved.Named all of them and We used to walk them on little bunny leashes. Gave them to the Amish when we moved. :0)
We had everything growing up. We also had the worlds tamest horse and cow. We had no fence they never left the back yard. The horse would always be on the back porch sticking his head in the window.
Wasnt alowed pets, so only could keep anything I caught, such as lizards or hegehogs. I also had some hermit crabs for a couple months
Australian Shepherd Dogs, and Quarter Horses. Oh and almost forgot the turtles and toads. I used to go catch the toads at the river as tadpoles and then raise them in my aquarium, out on the back porch. I had a Chipmunk for awhile to, but decided it was mean to keep him as a pet and went and turned him loose, back where I caught him.
Cats, always cats.
Dogs and two parrots!
Two cats and a hamster.
We had a cocker spaniel whom we named "Blackie". My baby sis (she was 7 years younger) had three goldfish whom she named

We still have the dog named Ben. However, only 4 lambs survived that are now older ewes with lambs of their own. Growing up on a farm have influenced me to continue this family tradition but also has influenced me to also teach young people in primary educated surroundings.
I remember some cats, dogs, hedgehog when I was 3 or something.
Later I had a snake, hamsters and seagull (temporary, seagull broke a leg and I cared for her about 2 months).
Fishtank. My bitchy mother got two puppies when I was about 4 and she made my dad get rid of them. I was 21 when I got my first cat. Now my nutty mom is a cat woman herself.
I remember two dogs, one I didn't have very long. It got sick and died. I had the fox terrier about 6 years, but he bit everyone that cam on our property and sometime even people just walking by, so my parents were forced to take him to the shelter. I had so may cats, I lost count.
I was fortunate enough to grow up on a life style block..
Horses/ponies, pet lambs, dogs, cat, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, mice and i used to feed the wild birds and they became really friendly. I also used to find many sick hedgehogs and baby birds and look after them. Pretty animal orientated childhood really =] was awesome.
