I'm not the least bit surprised. Republicans and Conservatives both suckle at the teat of hatred, and this is their end result. Timothy McVeigh? Republican. By their actions ye shall Know them.

Simple. Sad.

I feel that this 'domestic terrorism' might become a new trend that is very dangerous to all. I'm angry that there is so much hate in these times. Have we learned nothing?

Wary. I was in London this time last year and every day there was a stabbing. Gangs stab for a dare. At the same time 2 post-graduate French students were brutally murdered. The had only been in London a couple of weeks. Both of them brilliant in their fields of study. They were stabbed over 100 times and then torched. It is sickening, disturbing and makes one wonder what sort of world our kids and grand kids will inherit. One thing I will say though was that the people in London were amongst the most helpful and friendly that I have met anywhere in the world.

I answered a question yesterday about whether the Holocaust Shooting might trigger more right wing violence and a right wing ABer reacted so violently with such hateful language it makes me wonder if he's next, or if he just fails to realize that using such hate speech to demonize all who disagree with his right-wing ideology is like pouring gasoline on a fire. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1508262

I don't watch tv. I think these types of events are tragic and sick enough. I just can't stand to watch the news channels go into their frenzy when this stuff happens. Seems as if they love it. Reporting and overreporting... See, when someone is committed SO MUCH to a cause that they'd do something like this, they're trying to bring attention to themselves, their group, and their cause. And what do we do? We give them more airtime and headlines than they ever deserved... Yecchhh. I don't watch tv, I don't want to hear about this. It's bad enough and terrible enough as it is! If I was ever, say, attacked by a hate group or something, I can't imagine how disgusted I'd be in the way the papers would glorify it.

I think it shows that human beings are prone to hatred and sin and that we need to cling to God.

No one has the right to take another persons life irregardless how much you disagree with or hate the other person. The only exception to this is in a true war to truly defend an invading army. The word here is INVADING. NOT going to and invading another country.
