When I first heard "Like a Rolling Stone" it was 1965, and I was a billing clerk at a trucking company...it was about 1 in the morning, and when that song came on, I dropped whatever it was I was doing & just sat there, listening......next day I got the single, and then the album, and have most of his earlier albums, then of course had to get them on CD when that technology came along......I was lucky enough to see him in concert in Cleveland, OH........I had to find someone to take over my hours that day and finally did it...it was well worth the trouble!!! My only regret is that I didnt get to see him afterwards and at least try to get an autograph........

I have always loved Bob Dylan's songs but I am not his fan. His songs are very meaningful.

no

Probably, since I liked him way back in the 60s as more of a folk singer. It was a big shock when he played that electric guitar! lol!!!

I became a fan in about July, 1965 when I first heard "Like a Rolling Stone". However, I lost some interest in his music when he went C & W in 1968.
-
Nope, because I have never herd of his name till just now :)
-
No. I didn't like his born-again music from the early 1980's.

I was for a about a month in 1965 when "Like a Rolling Stone" was the number one hit record.

No, I didn't like him at first. It took a while for him to grow on me. Then when I started listening to the really great lyrics he was writing, his voice didn't sound that bad to me. Then when I heard the singers he learned from, Woodie Guthrie and Ramblin' Jack Eliott, I can see why he sings the way he does, and then I realized he does it very well.
