It sounds like the video cable inside the computer is coming loose or has/is becoming damaged. If it's just loose, any computer repair shop (or your local geek, if you have one) would be able to open it and plug it back in. If the cable is damaged, it will probably need to be replaced, which will cost you a hundred plus dollars ($50-$75 for the cable, $75-$100 for the labor) to get it fixed.
