  • No. Children are exposed to more gratuitous violence but I don't think they are more violent. Violence has always been a part of human lives and will be until Jesus comes back and puts an end to it.
  • Well in some ways yes...Alot of people blame it on Video game..such as Grand theft auto, but i really think its because of all the new drugs that have came out. Its also getting easier for kids to gain access to alocohol and HIGHLY easy to access Marijuana. drug dealers will sell to anyone to make money. I blame it also on the way children are raised. Parental ages are reaching there lowest ages EVER usually at the age of 14 kids are having...well...kids...and they in turn punish, or abuse there children who in tur rebel at an early age. I say within the next 50 years our society will deem it normal to have a child at 12...
  • No. Violence and exposure to violence has always been constant. In fact, people today are sheltered - how many of you have seen a dead body in real life? Think about what kids in Medieval Europe and Asia (and Africa) would have seen. Even today, public executions in Iran are common - yet the Americans are the ones with the bombs.
  • I think children are more aware of violence because of the media and culture we live in. In turn some children are more susceptible to be violent. I don't necessarily believe it but it has been proven.
  • im not i am less violent but generally speaking yes
  • In my opinion, I do think that children are more violent today. I think it has to do with how children were raised back then. It used to be that for disipline reasons, parents had the authority to spank and punish their children. Now adays, if a parent tries to disipline a child, they run the risk of arrest for child abuse. The government is too involved in family life with this issue,,i think they are overstepping their boundaries.
