    That I had better remove my head from a very uncomfortable position.

    It is a difficult place to have your head when your foot is in your mouth :)

    While loudly and happily telling a (clean) joke at my girlfriend's parents' 40th wedding anniversary (held at the parish priests house and attended by elderly relatives and several nuns) - I accidentally dropped the F word...

    Into the sudden silence I added
    "Oh. That wasn't meant to happen..."
