What does a boxer go through to make the jump from the amateurs to the pros (contract signings, meetings, etc.)? Anything at all that must be done for an amateur to be signed pro

    He/she has to have a good record so as to attract managers and promoters. An Olympic medal or two wouldn't heart either. Roy Jones Jr., Lennox Lewis (won and Olympic medal) and Evander Holyfield all got thier start in the amateur ranks.
