    Ohh yeah.
I grew up in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY and I had ample opportunities to construct snowmen.
It was really cool rolling huge snowballs with the help of my next door neighbors.
We also used to construct snowforts using the mega snowball technique.
    Oh, the good old days.

Lots of times! Sadly, when I was 13 my family moved to Texas and I haven't seen enough snow since. My sister once took all the snow in the yard we got at 3am one morning and made a little snow man, but it was only a few inches tall. I hope it really is the thought that counts!

Just one. I come from Sydney Aust, where it never snows, so when we got to Europe we went crazy trying to build one...it really isn't as easy as it looks. We got to the head and gave up, so I just bent over it and put my head on top. LOL

Yes, but only three. I live in Georgia where it only snows a couple of inches every 7 years or so. It takes all the snow in your yard just to roll balls big enough to make a 2 1/2 foot snow man.

The one time I did get to make a good one was when I visited Niagara, NY in mid January. They got 2+ feet of snow every day almost. I made my friends help me build a snow man that was taller than I am. I used a big fat carrot for his nose, small dark pieces of gravel for his mouth, some blue plastic easter eggs for his eyes, and branches for his arms. We even found one that made him look like he was giving you the finger. We put a scarf around him and some dorky hat on his head. I wanted a pipe, but we couldn't find any at the gas station so I had to settle for giving him a Black and Mild.

The local kids (I was 18 at the time) kept trying to come by and vandalize, torment, and molest Crusty- but I stood guard by the window armed with a broom and eggs to defend him. He lasted through the day and that night, but I woke up in the morning to find him decapitated and his carrot-nose lodged in his snow-rectum. The little heathens also stole his black and mild and his hat, but left the scarf tied around the remnants of his head.

    Murderers.

    More than I can count!

I live in Rochester, NY. Buffalo (nearby) gets a lot of the press about snow, but Rochester usually gets more. There's a corridor along the NY State Thruway that gets dumped on each year, from Syracuse, through Rochester, to Buffalo.

The Weather Channel continually comments on our "Thruway Snowfall Derby" each year.

No. I live where we get very little, if any snow in the surrounding mountains, and none whatsoever at my altitude. I have only gone to the snow twice. Both times it wasn't very deep and one time we weren't even expecting snow.
