Nope. They don't have to call back at all. If you file for bankruptcy and the court grants the bankruptcy, there is nothing the creditors can do. If the creditors were calling and hassing you prior to filing for bankuptcy, then I would just ignore them because they are just looking for money in any way they can get it.

No. The attorney has a duty to inform his or her client of the settlement offer. If the client accepts the offer, the attorney will certainly contact you. If you do not hear a response, you can contact the attorney and ask if he or she received the offer, or simply assume that offer has been rejected.
