If I have been investigated by the R.C.M.P. but NEVER arrested will I have any problems travelling to the United States or Mexico?

    I don't know Canada's rules with respect to denial of entry, but such are very, VERY, strict.

    For example, a motor vehicle infraction involving alcohol is most serious.

    Waivers are available under the proper circumstances, but I've been told, unofficially, that processing may take at least a year, may nevertheless be denied, and the fee/penalty may be in four figures.

    In the past, the answer would be no; but nowadays I imagine it would depend on whether they've put you on some list.
