Thats like a large bedroom. Yes, you could have a couch that opens into a bed at night. A table that doubles as a dining room table and for your TV to sit on. You could have two folding chairs that company could sit on, a book shelf and I assume you will have a bathroom or share one down the hall. You still have room for a small chest of drawers or some storage boxs that slide under the bed (couch). You could have a small camping stove that runs on canned propane. There are very mall refrigerators for less that 100 dollars if your landlord allowed it.

You're reading Is 447 sq. ft. effeciency apartment enough for a single person? What kind of furniture could fit in it?
Comments
Thanks for the answer. I didn't get the efficency apartment, I got the 1 bedroom instead, I think around 500-525 sq. feet. The room I'm in the most is my bedroom. Hardly ever my living room, don't even have a dining table, and I rarely cook. So I would have saved around $100 a month. Oh well, just a few months left on the lease.
