Help answer this question below.

Is lying always bad? Because if you are a spy or something like that, wouldn't you be lying for a good reason?

    A lie can save innocent lives, so lying is not *always* bad.

      No, lying is not always bad.  For example, just try to sleep while standing or sitting; it's very difficult.  For sleeping, or even just for relaxing, it's much better to lie than to sit or stand.

    lying for the good of others is sometimes the batter way for example:The christian story of David and Johnothan.David tries to protect Johnothan from his father by lying about Johnothan going to bethlehem when he actually hid in a field from David's fathers feast.Saul(the father)was furious because he wanted to try and kill Johnothan at the feast.Thanks to david Johnathan knew that Saul wanted to kill him.
    And from this example you can believe that lying is not always bad
