How many servings of fruits/vegetables do you eat every day?

    four to six and I am carefull to make sure that I get at least five serviings. when I get only four I feel it the nest day. If only fruit and vegetables tasted like they once did, it wouldbe so much easier...

    Today though I have had none a day.
    Unless the tomato ketchup I had on my bacon sandwich counts as one?

    Usually none. If I DO eat fruit, I keep it to a minimum because I avoid sugar in any form. I like berries, though. They have a good amount of fiber in them, moreso than other types of fruit.

    I love fruit...not so good at veges unless fresh (hate cooked except for potatoes and pumpkin). I eart frozen peas before I cook them for the rest of the family....I am more than a tad strange, eh what?

    Fruits and Veggies? Man, the last time I ate a fruit or a veggie was at home. I don't have that much time, but I really should eat more. Recommended is atleast 4 times a day.

    Probably one of fruit and 3 of vegetables. I was having more veges when I had salad at lunch but I am on a strict budget now and cannot afford all the veges I like to make my salad.
    I am certainly not meeting the recommended amount of servings.

    Thank you for your question.

    I normally have five vegetables and two fruit.

    I eat fruit with my muesli and at afternoon tea.

    I have lettuce and tomato with my lunch and normally three vegetables with my dinner.

    I eat alot of fruit every day, apples, kiwi, grapes, melon. I sometimes eat raw carrot through the day for a snack. I do make veg with dinners too

    Nearly always get in 1 or 2 serves of fruit and at least 4 or 5 serves of vegies.

    Do lots of exercise and have family history with cholesterol/blood pressure/heart problems - so have to keep eating the good stuff!

    A serving of fruit at least once a day,..more is better. Breakfast and dinner is a good time for a fruit dessert. Three different veggies a day is good. Try to get at least one yellow and one green. Beans and all legumes are also veggies and very healthy. Eat the raw ones too at least twice a day,..in salads or just munch them raw. I love to snack on raw carrots. Sliced tomatoes are great anytime.

    I have read "5 servings". Our basic diet consists of veggies, fruit and whole grains so we get way more than the basic requirement. Happy Wednesday! :)
