Sexual health questions may be helpful, but the sexually explicit questions and their answers should be properly submitted in the Adult catergory so as to prevent them from popping up in front of users who either do not wish to see them or should not be allowed to see them.
It would be easy for a site such as this to be run over by upteen horney teenagers (as well as the all-to-common tactless adult) asking and answering all maner of sex related questions because they think it is interesting, they are interested in shock value or they have nothing better to contribute.
Sex questions have their place here, but this is a social Q & A, general information site and should be both represented and utilized as such.

There is an adult section for sexual questions , we have 12 year old children on here which makes explicit sexual content unwholesome.

Sexual questions are fine, so long as they are posted in the adult section. :-)

as in being against them? there is a general fear of sexual topics these days, conservatism (it could be a real word but you get the idea) and the illusion of purity are very important images to project for a lot of people.

But do you know everytime i answer a question in the adult section, it gets posted on the new arrivals page. i think that's the porblem, they should stay in the adult section and not posted on the new arrival page.

Well said. I don't mind questions that are seeking genuine information or even as a "We've all done this, haven't we?" social question. But frequently the Beavis/Butthead types are just looking for shock value.

Munchkin - I THINK how it works is that if YOU have an account with "adult" permissions in your settings (over age 18), then it shows up on your new questions screen but if it is an account without that permission, they don't see it. If I am wrong, then YES, the system needs to be fixed. But that is also why it is SOOO important for people to put their questions, most especially the sex questions, in the correct category when submitting.
Old School - yes....I can actually hear the B & B laugh in the back of my mind when I read some of those shock value questions.
