hello old school! was my answer to your question detailed enough? i cant understand how you could be confused by what i meant when its obvious to anyone that works with amplifiers what i meant.all you have done is answer my question with a question.
its the transistor current bias volume thats adjusted by variable resistors in the driver stage for each channel.(in milliamps)
The term "bias" has several meanings in consumer electronics. You need to make your question more clear and detailed in order for us to answer it.

I hooked up a karaoke machine to my reciever and when I start to sing with the music the overload kicks in and no sound till I turn it off then turn it on again. Whatdo you think is wrong. It works good if you don't sing too loud.
