  • +3 No it doesn't become legal. . Driving with the flow of traffic means that if you are in a 50mph zone and everybody is doing 50mph then you should also try to do the same where possible, not hold up the traffic by doing 35mph. . Also, driving with the flow of traffic isn't a law, it's just a rule of thumb or a guideline. The posted speed limit is the ultimate law. If you break it you are liable to be prosecuted no matter what other drivers are doing.
  • It doesn't become legal. It's up to you to decide whether you want to go over the limit like the rest of the drivers or pull into the right lane and go the speed limit. Police can pull you over even if everybody else is going over the limit as well.
  • You have to respect the speed limit. What others do will be their problem.
  • Drive with the flow of traffic. Odds are a cop isn't going to pull you over. I tend to drive a little faster than the flow of traffic simply because i hate being behind other cars. and I've only gotten a ticket once and that was when there were no cars on the road. If you are on a highway where everybody is goign 85 and it's 65 then go 80 or 75. I feel it is unsafe to be traveling 65 when everybody is going 85.
