Pretty low on the list. I've always recycled and re-used when possible, but I'm not going to do things that aren't practical. I think this whole "global warming" thing is a crock. It's just another inroad to total government control.

I do the easy things to be green: turn off lights etc. but if it's too hard I don't.

    Shatzee coming back?

Hi Sharona, to me, going green is not an issue. I do not believe in the man-made global warming hype one little bit. The weather, where I live, has been way below the average temps. The coolest summer on record since the 1880's, I've ran the heat in my car in August! Thats just nuts! Now its Oct and the temps are still 20 degrees or more below normal. We even saw snow fall yesterday. Now, please dont confuse not going green with not caring about the planet. There is a difference. Just b/c I dont use "green" products" or go out of my way to be "green" does not mean I litter or toss old tires in the rivers. I dont want someone trashing up the planet no more than anyone else would.
I believe that global warming (when it does happen, I dont believe its happening now) happens within nature only. There is nothing man has done to cause and nothing man can do to prevent it or change it. This is what I believe.

I LOVED the idea, until I recently discovered that the cap and trade agree ment was going to cost each household and extra $1,700 per year once it was enacted. Suddenly, going green has lost it's appeal. Ironic. +5

I do what I can. We should really get into alternate energy (solar, wind power, etc)but not because of global warming or other nonsense. It just makes sense to take care of planet we live in. Just like cleaning yur room. Nobody wants to live in crud. Plus those resources are free and self generating. The problem is that most countries (third world, China, etc) dont buy into it and are destroying things faster then we can clean it up.

I do things to reduce my carbon footprint, like recycling and taking the bus and LRT, but it's not like my life revolves around it.

Incredibly - it is so easy for everyone to make a contribution towards the earth. I do my best to help out in every way. It just annoys me to know there are resources that are enviromentally friendly that are not in practice for silly reasons.

Nobody really cares because the reality is that we would have to give up all aspects of modern society and there would be anarchy----the truth is future generations will have to deal with these problems--call it selfish but i don't want to live in the stone-age i have one life to live and don't expect a god to rescue me.

Extremely, I do as much as I can without having to think about it every second. We are vegetarians, we recycle, I make my own yarn out of sustainable materials, we conserve water, I try to buy conscientiously, and we are about to start composting. In the future (as finances allow) we will have an energy efficient home with solar panels and an electric car. I would like to say that I do everything possible, but in reality I do as much as I can without sacrificing everything else on my priority list.

    one thing at a time.
right now i'm focusing on health care.
our family plants trees every year.
    i drive now very little.
i plan to write a book on it this winter. so, it is high priority, just behind healthcare right now.
