Do women experience a different intensity in their orgasms depending if their birth control pill is releasing hormones? My woman finds sex less than ideal when she's on the pill, but during the placebo week she thinks her orgasm improve

    Yes, that can be possible. Since many birth control pills are designed to emulate pregnancy (i.e. you can't get pregnant if you're already pregnant), then there is no need for the body to induce the intense feelings of arousal. Additionally, since the hormones are simulating pregnancy, it could cause a hormone imbalance and could very possible affect the sexual desire being generated. If it really bother's your significant other, she might want to ask her doctor to switch her to a different birth control pill to see if the side effects are any less.
