• I love the smell of alfalfa hay just cut and curing in the fields. It's been a while since I've smelled that. They don't have too much Alfalfa growing her in NY. Thanks, Jimmy

• Summer rain is something I am only recently, like in the last 5 years, getting acquainted with since it rarely rains in CA in the summertime. But it sure does here in NY. I love it!!! And the lighting too. The air smells different after all those negative ions go zooming around. What a show we get :-)

• They do have a smell! You're right. Mine are only about a foot high so far. We had a terrible frost about 10 days ago. It doesn't warm up quick here. Thanks :-)

• Even if it's not our own grill, the scent from someone elses up the street smells so awesome. It gets too cold here in the winter, so I usually grill inside on my George Foreman.

• They don't make much smoke or anything do they? It's more like a hot pan? We've got an indoor grill with a super ventilation hood which we seldom use because I hate the cleanup LOL! So if the wind isn't blowing too bad we shovel off some snow and try to do it outside.

• Nahh, they don't really make smoke. You just have to make sure the little drip tray is under it for the fat to run out. I now have a model that has removable grill plates that make it easier to clean. The original, small grills (and several models after that) did not have removable grill plates. Those ARE a pain to clean, but I do still have my original one for when I just have something very small to cook. It was a good size for when I only had to cook for one person.
  I used to have a neighor a couple doors up from my old house who cooked outside pretty much any day as long as it wasn't snowing or raining.

• Good choice. I used to live at the beach as a teenager and it was my playground all summer long. I remember waking up to that smell, even sleeping on the porch just to get as much of that ocean air as possible. Thanks for the memories

• I grew up around little sports cars as the family car and it was just the three of us so outings were one of our major family activities. My parents were car picnic addicts LOL!! I can't count how many times we drove home all huddled deep in the car with blankets around us and scarves. It was so much fun.

• Thank you. It has actually been a while since I could afford to go to Red Sox game. I do try to get to a couple of minor league games each year- much less expensive but still fun, especially with kids.
