Aside from a very lengthy, VERY painful, and very expensive procedure including breaking and stretching the femur (leg bones), there is no way to artificially increase your height. Sorry.

A 19 year old may have a tiny bit of growth left in them, so it's possible human growth hormone would help a little. However real HGH is insanely expensive, painful, and given by injection only by a doctor because it makes everything in your body grow, including your organs and even cancers if you have them. Try stimulating your natural HGH with plenty of sleep, eating the right foods and exercise. There are many HGH scams out there - don't fall for them.

Artificial stimulation of the pituitary gland can create growth "spurts," as has already been demonstrated on primates (to counteract dwarfism) at Stanford University (and elsewhere). The problem is, no legitimate doctor would dare to do so on another human being, because acromegalia can result, causing distorted facial features. An example of that is shown in this photo of actor Paul Benedict (1938-2008), who suffered from the affliction. http://www.berkshirefinearts.com/uploadedImages/articles/925_Paul-Benedict605474.jpg Here is a greatly exaggerated photo of such a condition, from the 1955 movie, "TARANTULA": http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qeg1OcClj7U/SJ7LDjmhXLI/AAAAAAAAARc/Cwup98aOh9M/s400/tar6.jpg
