Those who believe in both, God and evolution, are right.
-
Yes.There is concrete evidence of evolution all around us. Things adapt to their environment.Seems to me a wise creator would make things able to survive by adapting. Seems to me thats more inriticatly designed than an unchanging life form. To me, any way. I cant look at a bug without being amazed at its complexity and the mind that made it.

That's kinda my belief. I think that God created all, however...I think (based upon the findings) that as the Bible says, God's "days" are not the same as OURS...what he calls a Day is much longer than what we consider one to be. And if God can't cause a BIG BANG....who can? This is one of those "things" I don't personally spend too much time worrying over. I know there is a God, I know that as Christ he died for our sins and rose again...the rest will sort its self out, or not...but I assuredly believe that HOW God creates is infinite in its possibilities!

I believe in evolution and I believe in the science of the earth and the universe around us. but I like to think that there is some greater force that either planned it or allowed it all to happen. That greater force can be God, Allah, Fate, Mother Nature, Holy Spirit (whatever you want to call it). Otherwise, humans could have looked like Picasso's.

Micro-evolution has always been a fact. As for Macro-evolution, well, that's just a bunch of baloney. A fish is a fish and always has been a fish. It never turned into a non-fish.
-
I believe in God, absolutely. I have been a Christian for many years now. When I first became one, I believed somewhat in evolution, but have gradually come to see that the theory does not explain adequately how the world came to be the way it is now.(I also studied Anthropology too, so no saying I have been brainwashed or similar).
-
I don't believe in god or an afterlife, this is all we have. The whole idea to life is to give your own life it's purpose and reason.
-
I believe in both. I think that God created the first being to live on the earth, and then they gradually evolved.
-
Yep, I totally belive in God. Thats how ive been raised, and thats what I choose to believe. Can't really explain it...I just know that God is there.
-
I believe in both... Intelligent Design.
-
I believe in God and I really don't care how God made the world and the universe. If God didn't want evolution, it didn't happen. If God did want evolution, then it did happen.
-
I believe in evolution, coz I believe in Physics.
-
Posed with both choices, I pick evolution. It doesn't explain everything, but it makes sense to me, unlike the God concept. However, I take everything with a pinch of salt, and do not claim I know for sure
-
God AND evolution.
-
God, i do believe in change, adaptation, and evolution to a certain degree, but it doesn’t seem to explain why humans are so much smarter and different than all the other animals. If anyone can explain this to me please do so.
-
If evolution happened, it was all in God's design. It is possible that Genisis' seven days of creation were figurative, and God spawned everything, nurturing it along the way. I'm sorry, but life does not just HAPPEN. There can't be NO LIFE and then all of a sudden, LIFE. Something has to start it. And God was the one who did that.

I believe God used Evolution . There is too much to chance to natural evolution, however there is still evolution going on so we KNOW its has occured. I believe God made us evolve. !!
-
I believe in God as the Creator of all. I also believe in some aspects of evolution; however, I do not believe in the evolution of homo sapiens from any other species. I have felt the influence of the Holy Spirit in my life and therefore cannot deny the existence of God. I know He lives and loves me. I also believe that the form of living thing most suited to a specific environment will outlast the others (Survival of the Fittest). I believe that, in Genesis 1:27 (KJV) when Moses wrote "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." he meant it. I do not believe that man evolved from a common ancestor as any other primate. You are welcome to dispute my views.

Can I believe in both?
-
A little of both, they really do go hand in hand. Memnoch the devil by ann rice has a good grasp on this idea. Why are people down rating this question? They fear what the might hear or what? Its valid.
-
I believe in evolution more than the whole intelligent design thing. I'm not saying either are right, because nobody really knows. The whole big bang theory is a little out there for my taste though, almost as much as everything being created from nothing for no reason.
-
I believe in God. He created the heavens and the earth, and everything that is in it. Why, because I believe in His word and what it says. Plus there is alot of proof that exist to this belief, to much to imagine, and behold even scientist can't figure some things out. God is a all-knowing God, and His ways are beyond are ways, we can't understand all of creation.
-
The beliefs in gods, and goddesses, demons and such have themselves evolved throughout the aeons. Beliefs are assertions. People feel that they are correct about their own assertions, hence many folks unquestionably think their own beliefs are right. Hence, in their own minds, they could be right. I don't like the black and white dichotomy of this question, it is irrational.
-
Evolution is obviously what made us what we are today. There is insurmountable evidence that supports the theory of evolution, and logic and reasoning even lend support to this theory, in spite of the physical evidence. For those who deny the possibility of evolution, i say open your minds. Where is my evidence that God exists or did exist?
-
Many also believe that God only created the building blocks for evolution to take place. I think that, for the lack of convincing evidence to the contrary, it is possible. For the record, I am an Agnostic and therefore not convinced that there is (or is not) a God.
-
I believe that that is what scientologists believe, isn't it? That some alien god threw down a rock which sparked the human genome? I think that's about right...
-
If you take Einstein's take on things, yes. And going by his logic further, it's true, there is a mix.
-
Yep. There are many on both sides that believe just that!
-
and some that believe neither. sure they both are right. evolution of the human being is the only road block. evolution of plants and animals seems to be well documented.
-
Sure... Where in the bible does it say that Adam and Eve were not great apes? (Where did Cain and Abel's wives come from?) Why COULDN'T God have created the "big bang" to create the world? All the times and ages that are mentioned in the bible can be WAY off... What is a day to God? A few million years? Is there any reason the oldsters Noah and Abraham (I believe each were over 900 years old) "years" weren't calculated by full moons? (Would put their ages MUCH closer to current ages.) Etc.
