I am a 17 year old girl, 5'3, and I weigh 95 pounds. I run A LOT. Am I underweight?

    Well, your BMI should be around 18.7-25. At 95 pounds, you're at about a 16 bmi. A normal weight for your age and height is around 110.

    Perhaps....before you go running, down some carbs...so your body uses those, and contributes them to your muscels...and you can hold onto that extra "fat"....u do know you need a good little layer of nice fat right? MmmMm...Fat. LoL.

    Your ideal weight should be 115 pounds.

    But, since you a runner as my son was, i understand your 95 pounds.

    As long as you are healthy and drink plenty of fluids, you should be okay.

    I would say that you could stand to gain a few pounds. I was about the same height and weight when I was seventeen, and I used to think I was underweight.
