Better? There are excellent guns in 44 Magnum-is the kick a factor? And, of course, these are revolvers. The 38 Super is an automatic round used in a gun which is basically a Colt 45 Automatic with the different cartridge: it's an excellent gun, but does not have the stopping power of the 45, much less the 44 Magnum. These guns are so different, the Q is what do you need & what do you want? What factors are important to you?
