Just relax, enough that you won't be stiff while driving. You might be nervous at first but don't worry yourself that much, considering you will get a feel for what you are supposed to do. If you don't know what to do at that moment, DON'T PANIC, NEVER PANIC while driving, just ask.

If teenagers can do it, then so can you. Just try to relax, you'll pass!

Gerrik. However much I say keep your cool. It is not going to work. We all have gone through that. Just don't drink lots of coffee take light lunch. Be with someone who can make you laugh before the test. Initial 5 minutes are tough. Good luck. Let us know how did it go.

Make sure you stop at the appropriate places in the parking lot! Sometimes there aren't stop signs, but if there's an intersection they usually expect you to stop and look anyway. Two of my friends have nearly failed because of that. And if you do fail--it's no big deal. Lots of people don't pass their first time, and that way you'll know what to expect for the next time. Good luck!

There's nothing to it. Just tell yourself you're going to the store for a loaf of bread. It's pretty normal to be a little nervous, but usually the tester will try to put you at ease. Strike up a conversation or let him know how nervous you are.

Gerrik, I failed twice before I passed (he was almost going to fail me for third time). Now I am driving since last 5 years. If that helps. Good luck for the future tests. PS: I am not able to post comment to your reply. That’s why I am writing another answer.

just keep focused, don`t worry, try to remember most of the things they have taught you about driving.hope this helps

First, tell yourself i can do this. i have a brain and the car does not. it will do what i instruct it to do. Think positive and think defensively. Be sure to go to the bathroom before your test.
-
Relax and do everything you have been taught. ps. Don't stop for a beer in the middle of the test.
-
Don't go 5 over the speed limit. The instructor will yell at you and slam on brakes. lol
-
Try not to go up on the curb during the test :)
-
In line with some other responses: Remember your training. You have been practicing for this; you know the answers. The worst that can happen is that you will come up a few points short. The instructor will point these out to you. If you do fail the test, it just means that you need a bit more study and practice. If you are a good driver, you will have no trouble. Just do what you have been doing. The instructor wants you to pass and won't try to trick you. Taking the test is the easiest driving experience you will have. Have fun but not too much ;)

Keep your cool and focus on just driving. a lot of people get nervous or think too much about not doing bad and end up messing up. staying calm always helps and just remember the important and obvious rules need when driving
-
You'll do great and we'll expect a report. Going to the bathroom is a good idea from john pennington. Relax, (easy for me to say)
-
Try not to hit anything. Especially the Examiners dog.
-
Take a valium!
-
don't crash.
-
Make sure that the instructor puts their seatbelt on. They will automatically fail you if you don't check for that.
-
Don't take the test and try to use your cell phone at the same time!
-
Do not whatsoever turn on the radio when they are in the car with you for your drivers license test. Also check your side mirrors before you even pull out
-
make sure you don't roll a stop sign and make sure to merge in the lane closest to you :)
-
relax don't speed when you make a right turn get over as close to the curb as possible if you can use a small car-they are easier to parallel park
-
remember that A. you will not be executed for failing, B. if you fail you can take the test again and C. you have been preparing for this for a while and YOU ARE READY! There are millions of people who are not as smart or capable as you who have passed the test, SO CAN YOU! just relax and DO IT! good luck!!!
