Yes, we had to do this little skit thing in Elementary School about the Holocaust, and I still remember my lines. "Spring Sang". That was a good scene.

Many, many things like songs, prayers, passages, phone numbers and such. But the two "learning tools" I memorized as a kid were Roy G Biv for the colors of the rainbow in order.... Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Indigo, Violet... and Homes for the 5 Great Lakes... Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior.

I remember my phone number from 2nd-4th grade, and the one from 4th-7th grade and most of my friends' numbers from high school.

I remember my first license plate number from years ago.

I know every single word of the Facts of Life theme. Ugh. That's knowledge I could lose and not be sad. I also know the words to Puttin on the Ritz and Wham Rap.

The Battle of Hastings 1066. I was told every history test you will ever take would ask when it was. Don't recall if any ever did and now its 50ish years later and I still remember that bit of trivia.

We the people in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and ensure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posperity, do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States of America.

Its the song version not the actual thing. We had to learn the song in 8th grade and then we had to learn the differences for the written test later in the year.

A Christian prayer taught to me by a friend:

our Father, who art in heaven,
    hallowed be thy name
    Thy Kingdom come,
    thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
    And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever. Amen
